I was married for 23 years and experienced the nomadic life of a military family, raised two sons, and returned to school to pursue my dream of becoming a psychotherapist. I love what I do, and especially love helping other women.
My experience and lessons learned as a daughter, military wife, mother, single parent, grandmother, and friend help me to connect with clients and deepen my understanding of the challenges facing women in particular. Through my travels and having lived several years overseas, I see how women, no matter the culture or social status, share a common bond in how they relate to other women and in the challenges they face in relationship, family, society, and the work place.
I believe women have emotional strength and courage that so often go untapped.
It is up to each of us to find our power and purpose, to make peace with our past, to connect with our spirit, and to make the changes in our lives that not only affect us but all those with whom we are in relationship.

My approach to therapy is eclectic, diverse, creative, and open to what fits your needs, goals, and situation. Therapy is about creating a trusting relationship between therapist and client and then collaborating to find solutions and resolutions. So let's get started.
